During 2023-2025, Imagineer is working with Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council, Warwickshire Country Council and arts organisation Artichoke to produce Creative Explorers, a programme of cultural events in the borough.
This work started with an Imagine Bamboo is Everywhere event at Bedworth Miners Park in July 2023. We ran away with the bamboo circus, made music with bamboo and made our own creations in the bamboo crafting zone.

During 2024, local artists took part in an online creative exchange lab with bamboo specialists from India, Ghana, Bali and UK. They developed ideas for large-scale artworks made from bamboo. These artworks have been created with input from local community groups in Nuneaton and Bedworth - visit the gallery of artist commissions.

Local people have also worked on The Harmony Project, a giant outdoor musical instrument made from bamboo, in collaboration with Australian artists collective, Cave Urban.

The bamboo threads came together in Imagine Bamboo Nuneaton and Bedworth, a celebratory open day on Saturday 14 September in Riversley Park, Nuneaton.
Visitors could see the bamboo artworks created by local artists and groups, alongside Nofit State's BAMBOO circus show and guest bamboo artworks from Liverpool and Cardiff. They also joined in the bamboo circus workshops and made their own creations in the crafting area.
