Bridge enjoyed two residencies in 2019, in Grantham and Coventry. Like everybody else, we had to dramatically alter our planned schedule in 2020, but we were able to get back out in 2021, when Bridge took up residence in Dagenham and Liverpool.
For each residency the premise was the same: the bridge appeared in the centre of the community, where it became the setting for a three day programme of free events and happenings Under the Bridge. The experience culminated with the spectacular night-time Bridge performance. However, each community responds differently to Bridge, so that the residency has genuine meaning for each place.
